Upload a BOM for Electronic Component Sourcing
Upload one CSV, XLSX or PDF BOM up to 10 MB with or without manually entered RFQ lines. Accepted files are scanned and stored outside the public web directory.
1. Useful BOM columns
A clear file reduces clarification cycles.
- Manufacturer part number and manufacturer
- Required quantity and unit of measure
- Package or footprint
- Approved alternates or no-substitution flag
- Target date, destination and requested documents
2. File security and privacy
The server validates actual file structure rather than trusting the extension. Active content, macros, external links, embedded objects, unsafe paths, excessive expansion and malformed files are rejected without creating a customer RFQ.
3. Private retention
Accepted BOMs use random storage keys, are not publicly addressable and are deleted after 180 days. Authorized administration access is required for download.
4. What happens next
The request is stored as one private RFQ. Availability, exact suffixes, alternates, price, lead time, traceability and shipment terms are answered in the resulting quotation—not inferred on upload.
